I wore, up to now, sports shoes from all major brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Salomon, Reebok but I never bought shoes designed especially for trail running. I was a perfect customer of walking shoes. So I hit Shoebuy.com where I started looking at the top trail shoes. I like red shoes and yes I'm straight thanks for asking. So as any modern male looking only at the cover I picked these adidas trail running shoes and ordered them.
I bought the Adidas Trail Shoes not for performance or technologies incorporated but only for the design and color combination. I placed the order and they arrived through DHL. I was suspicious at first as the package was too light for what I was used to in shoe weight.
I opened the package and found the shoes, put them on, and had a funny feeling. They are a little taller then the average sports shoes I used to wear, unnoticeable yet you have to accomodate to them when you wear them the first time. The shoe heel is very soft. They have great cushioning and special shock absorbant heels and every step is much easier. So, they look great and feel very comfortable. But are they really trail running shoes fit for the hardcore runner (not me)?
They are Adidas ClimaCool model hence excellent airflow is included and they breathe throughout their entire surface. They also work for people with flat feet as they are well cusioned running shoes and feel very comfortable.
I decied to hit the trail and do some running. I was a little reluctant as they look so good it's quite hard to get them to do a dirty job as running. But the heels and their shock absorbing material made me curious. Are these my best running shoes up to now?
I'm not going to tell you how much I can run as it would be embarassing and outside the scope of this review. I'll just explain to you the difference between my old running shoes and these new shock absorbing trail designed running shoes.
As I began running I realised that pressure on my knees was much lowered. It was comfortable to run as they made each step feel good and light. They make no sound and are excellent to sneak up on people as they will not hear you coming. They are also good as due to silencers :) do not attract dogs' attention.
To cut it short I managed to run 50% longer then with my previous running shoes which were not designed especially for running. I kept running untill I ran out of breath and it was the first time I made it so far as old shoes put strain on my joints and I felt pain. I'm not light or anything nor fat. I'm big and massive! These are great sports shoes for the fitness oriented as they are cheap (around $75) and can increase your performance and endurance significantly.
Last but not least these shoes look great, come in other colors with same design line are very comfortable and can really help you with your training. Adidas has a history on narrow shoes and I had problems in the past but these running shoes fit properly and are true to size unlike my older Adidas Pairs of Sports Shoes which felt a little narrow.
So consider to buy these affordable men's running sports shoes as, compared to other models which run over $100, can be considered rather cheap running shoes.
