Search Engine Submission Forms are virtually useless

Wherever you read about getting a website indexed and spidered first advice given to you is to go the the following addresses :

  1. Google Add URL
  2. Yahoo Submit Site
  3. MSN (Live Search) Submit URL

and submit your site. And do it like every month or so ... eventually you will be spidered and indexed.

Now visit each of the submission forms and look at the timeframes they state. They tell you they will eventually look at your site. I stress eventually. They say in like 1-2 month or so. That is unacceptable.

Do not ever visit the submission forms. It is pointless and the time it takes to get your site indexed from the time you submit it is like forever in terms of webdesign and weblife time.

Instead get some links back to your website. Few links will get you indexed in quite a decent time frame, way shorter than the one stated by the search engine submission forms.

The Build it and they will come motto and is a joke. Yes, you do have to build a site for them to have where to come to, but just building your site will not guarantee any exposure.

If you rely on web traffic you have to get indexed and spidered quickly to exist. This will not apply to offline advertising because if you Build a website they will come because they know about your website and you have initial exposure.

So how do you get your new site indexed?

I have posted a distinct article to teach you how to get spidered and indexed fast with your new site. Give it a try, it worked for me everytime.
