We all know the troubles of startup webmasters and this is my support for you all. I've been there and it is a rough ride but it keeps getting better.
If you are new to SEO this is like offsite optimization SEO lesson 101 in getting indexed.
If you look on the left of my article you will see many tiny buttons that point to the main online bookmarking websites. This websites allows you to bookmark webpages and later on find them. You can also tag your pages with certain keywords that apply to them and by doing this you will easily find them later based on what you are searching for.
This websites are so big and popular they get spidered constantly. And thanks to that any new link posted in them is quickly picked up by search engines.
Stop! I know what's on your dirty mind but you are wrong. Keep reading.
I know you were tempted to go create accounts and start submitting your websites in all these sites. But ... read on.
This title is intentionally somehow misleading. They do not have dedicated staff there to review your site but the other users will do it. You need them to like or do not care about your content. They should not hate it because hate can take you out.
The humans that visit your content can also give you more links if they like your site hence you get extra link juice.
Bottom line is: Do not submit trash to these sites. I have no idea if they would filter out offensive domains but I never tried it. If you have any input with results after submitting low quality content to the bookmarkers let me know.
Here comes the turn key solution to get indexed and spidered fast!
The best site that worked for me is Digg.com. Digg.com is more like a news publishing network. You got something new, not necesarly news, you can Digg it. This way that page will feature in the Upcoming News section of the category you chose. Search Engines hit these pages constantly as the keep changing and search engines are always eager for new content.
Do keep in mind that many people submit to Digg.com and many more visit the submitted news. This is the catch. You need a good quality landing page to submit to Digg.com.
Now you have two possibilities. First would be to just create a quality article on your site, one worth reading and pushing it to Digg.com.
How can you write a quality article? About what? First of all keep it on the topic of your website. Then you can visit the news sites find anything new related somehow to your line of work or area of interest. Post an article with an original view on the subject and publish it on your website. Make it unique = write it yourself.
I'm not here to discuss the quality of your website, I'll just help you spider it quickly and index it fast. But if you site does not reach quality standard of Digg.com do the following, as some quality is required.
Make a new site, small one and post articles written by you on it. Make it clean and then submit the articles to social networks (bookmarkers as I call them). In the body of the article include links to your other sites but do stay on topic. This way you have a clean site for Digg.com users and you get the link juice pushed forward.
The more strength you put into your hub, the more link juice you pour into it, the better it will work for the other websites it points too and it will get the other satellite web sites.
As I said before it is harder and harder to get a good link today. People understood the worth of links and ethics has gone down the drain. This is one method to surpass your website startup problems and get a new site indexed quickly. From there on you are on your own but visit this site from time to time. You might find some new stuff wirth reading.
If you liked this article bookmark it in your new accounts ;) Help me spread the love.BTW: I posted this article on Digg. Googlebot spidered it in about 2 hours ;)
