I just signed up with WordTracker keyword suggestion tools!
I created and account on WordTracker and paid for one month but the cost has already paid off. I have to admmit they evolved from the last time I used them a few years ago.
So I logged in and checked out the search engine keyword optimization search tools. It took me 1 minute to understand that it diserved every penny not because of its keyphrases results quality, which is outstanding, but because it was codeable.
How is WordTracker Codeable?
Let me explain. I started some tools and after 10 minutes of analyzing and 2 hours I had a fully functional PHP Class Script to access and search WordTracker (with my credentials) for keywords with any of their tools and options. It is very important to me as all the keywords exporting and playing around there is very cumbersome, for me. I code and my code gathers the relevant website keywords for me ;)
I'm actually doing WordTracker a favor …
There should be no problem by using a script as I save them bandwidth with not loading the rest of the keyword tools interface features. And they also limit queries per day so I'll be confined within those limits either way I choose to use their internet keyword marketing tools.
WordTracker in matters of quality …
I completely disregard their traffic details which I only use for sorting. I just need their keyphrases lists they put together for you. The results are much cleaner then free Overture's keyword suggestion tool and Google Cpatch'd SandBox tool. No wonder as this is commercial.
You find a lot of searches you have not considered, related searches and a small idea on traffic differences between keyphrases. This will allow you to extrapolate in your mind some traffic figures for Google for example. Or you can use Google's Traffic / Bid estimator too to get a better idea.
It is very fast considering the database it handles. It searches on 3 months of searches in about 30+ million queries. Some serious stuff!
If you work with keywords and you are serious about search engine optimization and marketing you need WordTracker. It's on the SEO must-have tools list!
Especially now as Yahoo! Overture is no longer working and has been locked to January 2007 as they offer a new keyword tool in their advertiser panel. :(

Check below some lists discovered by the WordTracker tools. I would they they are top notch. A small price to pay for some insight on what people search for. Also try the free version which is a demo and limited compared to the real thing.
