Quite a short while ago the AdSense Account Login Screen presented a new TOS which we had to accept. I'm 99.99% sure that you paid attention to it as much as I did and do to any TOS or EULA. Major attention:) I clicked Accept and that was it.
Short while ago I bumped on Jensense into the following post realted exactly to the Latest TOS Changes. It's a pretty good digest pointing out the changes and how these will affect the advertiser. I won't write them here … that post is great and I encourage you to read it and subscribe to that blog as it covers AdSense and it will promptly notify you of AdSense Changes.

The most emphasized section is the cookies and beacons part that will require a Privacy Policy published by each AdSense publisher on their sites. My first thought was: Why? Then I connected this with a news (I might be wrong) I read few days ago regarding European Union internet privacy regulations reffering to IP addresses as personal information. This would cause Google big problems and I think their first measure was to force publishers into placing the privacy policy on their sites and warn the users that they're being tracked. Funny thing is Microsoft does not use IP to track users and does not store it. But they use the .NET Passporte for this very purpose.
This is light food for thought. Think about it and share your comments. And do read the AdSense changes! There are some good news there too.
