This post is only available to RSS subscribers. It's noindex, nofollow, nocache so it's only for you to read. I've received unexpected feedback to the previous post. People express interest and that gave me a confidence boost and motivation. There's no point in assembling such project if nobody is interested but I knew that wasn't possible.

Some asked: Will this be a paid forum?

No. And Yes! There will be a forum but that will be just a part of what I plan to stuff inside the members' area. I want to explain upfront this will be mostly SEO developer oriented. Most of the stuff/theory will be backed with (re)usable (plug & profit as I like to call it) PHP code.

There are so many sites out there giving theory but very few actually give away code. That's the entire catch in free information. The costs to implement are the real disadvantage in free stuff and theoretical tutorials. Few understand this catch but all suffer from it.

Let's say a less skilled coder (no shame in that) bumps into an excellent tutorial about something. But that tutorial has no code attached just an outline. There begins research, hours on end of searching, digging through others code, trying to get it to work. In the end, if you quantify the time wasted to get that something to work you will see what you lost. The real tragedy is when, in the end, they fail to figure the something out!

It's rather easy for me. When I read a tutorial on something, 99% of the times I can implement that in less then a day. But 9 years of coding back this up for me. Not everyone has my experience and I'm not bragging here. But many could benefit from it.

Others said: I like to roll my own! Not interested…

Big mistake you're making. What you don't understand is that exactly those who say such things are my real target audience. Think about the roll your own as a building. What I will provide will be quality building materials and ideas. You will be the Architect of your success/failure. I'll just give you the right stuff to work with.

I don't believe in one-size fits all solutions. That's why rolling your own is the way to go. You are best aware of what you need!

Few said: I'm complete beginner.

Before I decided to take on this project I was thinking one night. I know a lot of coding tricks in my area of expertise. I need to share this stuff, I can't just take it with me:) The first thought was to go to the highschool near me and offer to teach PHP/HTML (WebDev). I know I would have been allowed to do this but then it hit me:

Kids nowadays are nuts and like to challenge those who teach them. I'm a pretty calm guy but there's a point. You can piss me off once and live, twice and live but the third time I snap. I'm a big and angry guy with a 40cm arm. I realized the risks are not worth it. I try to keep myself out of situations that could release my innerself so I had to come up with an alternative to teach.

I'll be sharing several beginners' tutorials with HTML, CSS, and PHP broken down on pieces: General PHP (syntax), Strings, Arrays (the most important thing in PHP sience sliced bread), Files, MySQL, cURL and so on. I'll also get together the best RegExp tutorial for SEO purposes. And this one will be big to both expert and beginners.

Some pros said: I don't wanna drown in beginners!

… and some others said: I want to contribute but to a small group of people I choose.

I will provide a way for contributors to choose their audience and even charge for stuff. Enough said!
Will everything inside be free?

Good question. Think of this as an exclusive club. The membership fee gets you in, let's you benefit of most of the stuff but won't get you free drinks. Once you're inside most of the stuff will be free but sensitive tutorials, scripts, contributions may require a fee. This will happen because the admission fee will be affordable so beginners can get in to learn but some tools/techniques are for the big league.

Any Online Tools You Plan To Host?

Nope! I won't provide tools to run on server but there will be tools to download as PHP scripts and run yourself. I have some cool tools I'll share on the site. And one of them by itself will justify the membership fee for an year easily. I'll also begin to translate most of my C++ SEO software to PHP where possible.

Affiliates?

Any member will instantly gain an affiliate link. I will not provide affiliate links to non-members. They can't say this membership site rocks if they haven't seen it… right? I'll also provide some cool pricing methods allowing you to modify (increase) the membership price. I'll share the entire affiliate structure soon.

Many of you have blogs but hold back some stuff you just can't say publicly. I'll allow you to create your own channels inside the membership area and write there to interested members. You'll get a banner on your site and those who care will be able to join and read the stuff you just couldn't say before.

How long and how much?

I can't give you an ETA, not right now but I'll keep you updated. As for the price I decided to make it affordable but not completely free. First I thought to price it at the value of an average Viagra sale:) That's 50-75$. But…

…the special startup price available only to those who have opted-in on the original post will be 25€/mo.. For everyone else it'll be 50€. But the price will grow proportional to the value of the resources I(we) pile up in the membership area. But that's not to worry about for now:)

Contributors will receive special treatment as they will bring value to the whole project.

Got Milk… I Mean… Questions/Ideas/Threats?

Rather soon, I'll detail further what I plan to include/provide.

I'm not a hype guru and didn't want to bug you guys with email :)
But the comment is saved. I'll send an email out to all of you soon saying something nice.

Sounds good, am all for a totally open learning environment. Where tools are considered 'heavyweight' and require an additional fee, will their inner workings still be discussed in detail? I'd be interested if you think this would decrease their value and therefore not be able to provide detailed info on them. Personally, being from the 'roll your own brigade', I'd appreciate full insight into the inner workings of tools to integrate into my own solution.

Interesting stuff.

I will do what I have never done before.
I will comment all my code in detail. I know this will help others notice some tricks / shortcuts I use when coding and I'm sure it will help them learn quicker.

I've been providing code to use as-is without a lot of comments / explanations.
My focus will now shift on helping others understand the code and scripts will serve two purposes: using/learning.

Selfpreneurs: If I dropped this project right now I'd say it served this purpose. Excellent move.
