Important: If you have problems starting it make sure you have VS2005SP1 Redist installed!
I needed a piece of software!

I needed a lame copy analysys that could show me an idea over keyword density and the very existance of a word on the webpage. Optimizing for the long tail is a SEO technique that allows you to optimize a page for a few words keyphrase but also for longer keyphrases. But, to catch the longer queries, you actually need that text on your page.

Everytime I write content, (shit! that happens … sometimes), I have some words I need to mention at least once. And as I'm one lazy SOB I decided to write a software that can automate the entire process. I have a more advanced on-page analyzer but I needed something lame and simple just to see that I don't forget to mention keywords in the copy.

Lame Copy Analyzer

So I wrote this simple tool (I'd say usefull) that parses your content and, using my advanced techniques, finds all text (including ALT and TITLE attributes if you choose so), and then shows you the keywords and their density. But, in order to understand how this software works you need to see this video.

YouTube fucks up my videos so sorry for busted looks. If you got any tips about best resolution to use on upload lemme know. I don't have time to test!

How it works!

Enter a URL in the upper box. Make sure HTML is valid or … it'll get … ugly! Then hit the button and wait a bit. When it's all done you'll see keyword densities and occurence counts. Now enter word parts on the side and you'll see if any words containing them are mentioned in the copy. Move mouse over application to see the tooltips and they say it all!

I'm not really good at writing Usage Instructions, especially when I'm in a hurry but if you got questions … shoot! And Download The Tool here! It should be virus free but an active antivirus never hurts! Windows XP or better. Tested on XP 64bit.
